isnt it crazy when you think about it on how much money we spend on impulsive buying of mobile phones, i hate to think of the amount of money i have spent over the years and then after a couple of months or with some people weeks even we get another one. its a never ending cycle and will be i suspect for ever. im i just got rid of my 6300 nokia and now just brought a 6500 slide and god knows what it will be next month. anyone with any views on the subject be glad to hear.
Mobile phone Madness?
.
Reply:LOL...sounds like you need to stop looking at other mobiles for a while...just walk past the shops and don't look back.
But really, it's a fairly common issue. The phone companies love it because they want you to be dissatisfied with your current mobile as quickly as possible so you'll buy another...makes more money for them!
I think it's especially true of new users as they really don't know what they will want or use or 'need' until they have used a few of them.
When we bought our phones and signed up for our service, we had no idea we'd receive so many texts or that we'd be making so many ourselves...for our lifestyle and work schedules it makes more sense and is more polite to text. Now we want new mobiles but we have committed to waiting until Sept when we will have had our current mobiles for two years...may seem a little extreme to wait that long but we don't want to waste money on features we don't like so we are taking our time looking for the next ones...I have a feeling they'll be really good!
Reply:i have a contract so im not buying a new phone every month. Sounds like you have money to waste!
Reply:I have a contract and a work mobile when they both go off well its prioritise?but a phone can save your life and when on holiday take video footage and photos get a contract phone from a friend who works in that area they will put you on to there friends and family list and will save you a fortune take care and happy new phone.
Reply:just imagine having these things in your pocket: cd player, camera, mobile phone, mp3 player, some maps, recorder, radio, internet on a pc and much more.
i and many others have all these separate items. and now you can have it all in one little package stuck on the side of your head.

Reply:I can't be bothered to go looking for a new phone that often. I prefer to get the most out of the one I've got.!!
It's too much like hard work to learn all the new feature and protocols and what-have-you's.!!!!
Reply:i used to buy a new phne every few months as i always got bored and something better would get reduced into my price range.
but since i switched onto a pay monthly contract i get a new phone every 9 months except last year when it broke after a few months and i had to buy a new one.
its one of those things were people all want ot compete with each other especially at school or in groups of friends - although i find its usually blokes that are competitive with how good an dhow much there phone is, girls usually go on style so they have the battle of who has the most stylish phone and now the pinkest lol
