My mobile phone device seems to be costing a fortune?

I recently purchased a mobile cellular telecommunications device. However, I'm having to spend £15 every few days on a new blasted battery. The people in the shop are always very friendly, and keep a stock of batteries for me and always know when I'm coming in. Am I using the phone too much, does anyone else have this problem with their 'mobile phone'

ask your servants to lend you their battery charger
Reply:These blasted field telephones are another money-making scam. First you have to buy them, then buy 'credits' to use the bally things, then keep buying batteries to keep them alive.

I'm sticking doggedly to good old BT.
Reply:The only problem is if you get a charger you can only move in a 5 ft radius!
Reply:You can recharge those, you know. I'm assuming you have modern conveniences such as electricity in your keep, if so plug the darn thing in.

I'm sure they are nice! They're making a fortune off of you.
Reply:you do realise that your supposed to charge you mobile phone device d'uh, or maybe stop posting silly questions
Reply:Bah humbug!

Bah humbug! I say to you sir, bah humbug!
Reply:i fear that, you sir, have more money than sense
