Ok, I'm switching to T-Mobile in January, and I went to the site and it said that it was a 49 cent charge for roaming... But I've been reading a lot of answers on here, and all of them have said that they don't charge for roaming, and they said that they were T-Mobile customers...
So do they charge for roaming?
I live 45 minutes south of Chicago, so roaming wont be an issue there, but I mean when I travel...
Also, could someone please explain roaming? I read on the site that it's when you go out of your local calling area... so does that mean, since I live near chicago, does that mean if I went to... New york for example, I would be roaming?
Please don't answer with such answers as "don't get t-mobile, they suck..." Because I've had T-Mobile before, but it was under my moms name, so I never really cared about roaming. And I think they are great.
If it matters, I'm gettin the sidekick LX with the myfaves 300 plan and unlimited data (text, picture, instant messaging, web)
THANKS!
