Windows Mobile 6?

I was interested in buying the Samsung i760 for Verizon. It comes equipped with Windows Mobile 6. I was wondering if they were to come out with Windows Mobile 7, Would i be able to update my phone to that system or does that mean i would need to buy a new phone? Im hesitant to buy a phone and then it becomes outdated within a month.. In your opinions, Is the i760 a nice phone? Im basically interested in mainly the Wifi feature....

i would say get it i have a blackjack 1 and when i got it they said we would be able to get windows mobile 6 and we did but that really dont matter now i have had so many probs with this blackjack that i am geting the new AT%26amp;T blackjackII
