Hi was just wondering i want to buy a mobile phone for someone in USA, but not sure what to look for on ebay as i don't think phones from Australia work over there, can anyone help

you can order anything on ebay and let them deliver it to USA and the payment will be in Australia like as if you are sending/ordering it as a gift. i think if it's purchased online, then the phone is unlock. to get signal/transmission, the receiver has to register that phone in USA.
